To know Christ and make Him known

Our Outreach Ministries

Cameo Club

Cameo is an acronym for Come And Meet Each Other. This is a fellowship club, primarily for the seniors of St Chads, although not exclusively. Meetings are held every third Saturday of the month at the church at 14h00 unless otherwise advised in the pew leaflet. We do have special occasions when we meet earlier.

Care Group

The Care group ladies meet once a month. Senior citizens are visited during the week in their homes or Retirement centres. On Mondays flowers from the Sunday services are taken to those who are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries.

The groceries which are donated by the parishioners each Sunday, are given to needy families and are distributed in a ‘care parcel’ once a month. (These parcels are subsidised by Church funds)

With the help of willing volunteers, meals are provided to anyone who has been in hospital, or is recuperating at home and who has no home help or family members to take care of them. We also have ladies who are prepared to do shopping or transport in an emergency.

Du Noon

St Lawrence Chapelry, Du Noon. As part of our belief in growing the Kingdom of God, and compassionately impacting the immediate community we worship in, we were instrumental in the planting of St Lawrence Chapelry in the Du Noon settlement near Table View.

Pastoral Care

We aim to be “a loving nurturing Christ-centered community ” so we look for ways to love, help and support each other, especially in times of crisis or need. We do this by providing practical help as well as emotional and counselling support for those facing marital and family problems, as well as spiritual accompaniment and mentoring for those facing the regular demanding challenges of life.
